CORAM : ANIL L. PANSARE AND M.M. NERLIKAR, JJ.

JULY 23, 2025 The application filed by the petitioner seeking to release him on furlough has been rejected by respondent no.1 - Deputy Inspector General of Prison, Nagpur, on the count that seven cases are pending against him. The petitioner has come up with a case that he has been acquitted in these cases.

2] We have gone through the order. It refers to the report submitted by the Sub-Divisional Police Officer, Mehkar Division, Buldhana, wherein the S.D.P.O. has stated that seven cases are pending against the applicant and, therefore, he may not return back to the prison, if released.

3] Thus, there are two different versions. The parties shall therefore place on record details of seven cases, and documents in support of their contentions. 4] List on 30/7/2025.
