A very sorry state of affairs is before us where husband and wife is putting the welfare of their child in jeopardy. The daughter, aged about 7 years, was taking education in Narayana School at Nagpur. She completed her education in 1st Standard. She was admitted in 2nd Standard and after undergoing education for one month, she was taken to Bramhapuri by respondent no. 2 on the assurance that he will return the child within 10 days. The husband, however, did not. He admitted the child in Poddar International School at Bramhapuri and later in LMB Public School at Bramhapuri. The child at present is taking education in LMB Public School, Bramhapuri. The parties are blaming each other. At this stage, Mr. Sagar Ashirgade, Additional Government Pleader sought permission to intervene saying that he will make an attempt to speak to the parties to find out the solution so that the welfare of child could be achieved. We accepted the proposal. The parties were accordingly referred to Mr. Sagar Ashirgade. Kept back.

Mr. Sagar Ashirgade submits that after persuasion, the parties have decided to resolve the dispute amicably. He submits that necessary pursis of the terms of settlement will be filed on or before 10-10-2025.

We appreciate the efforts taken by Mr. Sagar Ashirgade particularly in the light of what transpired when we referred the parties to the trained mediator where the mediation failed. Accordingly, the petition is adjourned to 10-10-2025 at the end of board.
