On 9th October, 2025, following order was passed: "The Counsel for the petitioner is seeking investigation in a matter, where First Information Report (F.I.R.) has been not lodged.

2] At this stage, the Counsel for the petitioner submits that F.I.R. is lodged, and copy of same is placed before the Court at page no. 36 of the petition.

3] We have perused the petition. We find that last page of the petition is page no. 32. Despite such status, the Counsel for the petitioner submits that he had filed F.I.R. Upon such a bold statement, we invited the Counsel's attention to the petition filed by him. His attention was invited to Index, which bears his signature. The Index itself indicates that only four annexures were filed, which does not include F.I.R., and further, the last page of the petition is page no. 32.

4] Thus, it is apparent that the Counsel for the petitioner made a false statement. Such conduct is deprecated.

6] We permit the Counsel to place on record F.I.R. with a caution that during the course of hearing, further misleading statement will be viewed seriously. The Counsel submits that F.I.R. will be filed within a week. Be filed.

None appears for the petitioner. The absence speaks volumes if looked into in terms of what has been noted in order dated 9th October, 2025.
