The learned A.P.P. has tendered across the Bar the status report of the investigation, which is taken on record. 02.
We have gone through the same. Out of five crimes registered, the investigation in three crimes was completed and charge-sheets filed by previous Investigating Agency. The Investigating Officer of newly constituted Special Investigation Team is present in the Court and submits that further
16.cwp.811.25 2/2 investigation under Section 173(8) of the Code of Criminal Procedure is being carried out in the offences, in which charge-sheets have been already filed. The investigation in Crime No.58/2023 is pending. It appears that this Court, vide order dated 01/03/2023 in Criminal Application No.270/2023, permitted the Investigating Agency to continue with the investigation but to file the charge-sheet only after obtaining leave of the Court. 03.
Considering the nature of allegations and subsequent developments, we grant permission to the Investigating Agency to file the final report. So far as the fifth crime, i.e. Crime No.413/2025, is concerned, the investigation is in progress. The Special Investigation Team has mentioned in the report that the contents revealed therein are sensitive and contains confidential investigative details. Accordingly, a request is made to not disclose the contents of the report.
