"The petitioners have approached this Court under Articles 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India read with Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (BNSS), with a prayer to quash the First Information Report as also chargesheet. The petitioners have also prayed for quashing order of issuance of process, which means that the trial Court has taken cognizance of the offence.

2] That being so, remedy under Article 226 of the Constitution of India will not be available in terms of judgment of the Hon'ble Supreme Court in the case of Pradnya Pranjal Kulkarni Vs. State of Maharashtra and Another [2025 SCC OnLine SC 1948]. The petitioners shall, accordingly, take instructions in this regard. 3] List on 20/11/2025."
