Issue notice to respondent - State. Learned APP waives service of notice for respondent - State.

Learned counsel for the applicant, who is present through video conferencing, pointed out that the applicant was arrested on 03.06.2022. According to him, though the charge was framed on 08.05.2024, the trial has not yet commenced. He also submits that the accused has not been produced before the Court.

Considering the above submissions, it would be proper to call report from the concerned trial Judge, who is seized with the matter, reporting about calendar of trial and approximate time required by learned trial Judge to commence and conclude the trial.
