After hearing for some time when this Court expressed its disinclination to grant any relief, learned counsel for the applicant, on instructions, seeks leave to withdraw the application. However, she would submit that trial be expedited and it be made time bound. 2.

Learned A.P.P. has placed on record written instructions received from the investigating officer regarding the progress of the trial. It reveals that six witnesses have been examined and the cross-examination of one of the witnesses Gurubachan Kour is underway. The prosecution proposes to examine further five to six witnesses. He would submit that prosecution is interested in expeditious completion of the trial and no undue adjournment would be sought.

Bail application is disposed of as withdrawn. The Presiding Officer is requested to expedite Sessions Case No. 234/2021. In case of undue/unreasonable delay, it would be open for the applicant to approach this Court for enlargement on bail.

Both parties are expected to cooperate the trial for expeditious disposal of the matter.
