1] Issue notice to the respondents, returnable on 07.02.2024. The learned APP waives service of notice for respondents/State.

2] Heard.

3] The applicant has approached this Court apprehending arrest in connection with FIR No. I1136/2024 dated 04.12.2024, registered with Shrirampur City Police Station, Shrirampur, Taluka Shrirampur, District Ahmednagar, for the offences punishable under sections 204, 318 (2). 319, 3 (5) of BNS.

4] The allegation against the applicant is that by giving threat of filing case of adulteration against the

informant, who was running milk diary, the applicant and others have extorted amount of Rs.40,000/- from the informant. The full name of the applicant is not mentioned in the F.I.R.

5] Considering the same, I deem it appropriate to grant interim relief to the applicant.

6] In the meanwhile, there shall be interim order in the following terms :- A] Till the next date, in the event the applicant is arrested in connection with FIR No. I-1136/2024 dated 04.12.2024, registered with Shrirampur City Police Station, Shrirampur, Taluka Shrirampur, District Ahmednagar, he shall be released on bail on furnishing PR bond of Rs. 20,000/- with one or two sureties in the like amount.

B] The applicant shall remain present before the investigating officer on 03.02.2025 and 04.02.2025 between 10.00 a.m. and 12.00 noon and thereafter as and when required by the investigating officer. C] The applicant shall co-operate with the investigation, including producing all documents in his possession, as may be demanded by the investigating officer.

D] The applicant shall not influence the informant, witnesses or any person concerned with the case and he shall not tamper with the evidence.

7] Needless to say, violation of any of the aforesaid conditions may result in this order being cancelled. 8] List on 07.02.2025. Interim protection till the next date.
