Heard learned Advocate Mr Bansode for the Applicant and Mr Goyanka, learned APP for the respondent No.1/State. 2.

The FIR inter alia invokes offences under Sections 8 and 12 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012 despite offences under Sections 74, 352, 351(2) and 351(3) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023. In such view of the matter issuance of notice becomes necessary.

Issue Notice to the Respondents, returnable on 04 August 2025. The learned APP Mr Goyanka waives service of notice for the respondent No.1/State. In the meantime, learned APP to direct the Investigation Officer to effect service upon Respondent No.2/victim. 4.

List the proceedings for further consideration/ hearing on 04 August 2025 (HOB).
