The learned counsel for the applicant submits that vide order dated 16.12.2025, this Court has protected the applicant on a condition to attend the police station. The applicant has attended the police station and cooperated with the investigation. The prosecution has filed a charge sheet in the present crime, however, the applicant is not arrayed as an accused in the charge sheet after finding that there is no role played by the applicant in the present crime. The relevant extract of the charge sheet is placed on record and same is marked as "Exhibit X" for the purpose of identification.

The learned APP also confirms the fact that the charge sheet is filed against all other accused and not against the present applicant. 3.

Thus, in view of the aforesaid submissions, the cause of action for filing the present application does not survive. The application is disposed of as infructuous. The application for permission to assist the prosecution is also disposed of.
