Issue notice to the respondent, returnable on 15.01.2026. The learned APP waives service of notice on behalf of the respondentState. 4.

The applicant has approached this Court apprehending arrest in connection with FIR No. 0544 of 2025, dated 19.11.2025, registered with Shivajinagar Police Station, Taluka and District Beed, for the offences punishable under Sections 7 and 13 of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988; Sections 14 and 34 of the Arbitration and 1/3

Conciliation Act, 1996; and Sections 318(4), 316(5), 338, 336(3), 340(2), 198, 199, 316(2), 61 and 351(4) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.

Mr. Hange, learned counsel for the applicant, submits that the applicant has neither filed any appeal nor is he charged with any illegality regarding obtaining any fake or forged order from the Collector. It is submitted that, as per the prosecution case placed before the learned Sessions Judge, the only allegation against the applicant is that he made continuous phone calls to the other accused persons. The applicant is a practising criminal lawyer and is ready and willing to cooperate with the investigation. 6.

Taking into consideration the aforesaid submissions, I am inclined to grant interim protection to the present applicant till the investigation papers are placed before this Court.

O R D E R

In the event of arrest of the Applicant - Pravin Bhagwanrao Rakh, he shall be released on bail on furnishing P.R. bond of Rs.50,000/- (Rupees Fifty Thousand) with one or two solvent sureties in the like amount, in connection with FIR No. 0544 of 2025, registered with Shivajinagar Police Station, Taluka and District Beed, for the offences punishable under Sections 7 and 13 of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988; Sections 14 and 34 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996; and Sections 318(4), 316(5), 2/3

338, 336(3), 340(2), 198, 199, 316(2), 61 and 351(4) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, on the following conditions:

A) The applicant shall attend the concerned police station and report to the Investigating Officer as and when called.

B) The Applicant shall also cooperate with the investigation.

C) The Applicant shall not pressurize the prosecution witnesses and shall not tamper with the prosecution evidence, in any manner.

Needless to say, violation of any of the aforesaid conditions may entitle the prosecution to seek cancellation of the interim relief granted herein above.

The Investigating Officer shall make available the investigation papers on the next date of hearing.

Stand over to 15.01.2026.
