The present application is filed for condonation of delay of 85 days in preferring an appeal against conviction. 2.

The reason, which was stated in the application, is that due to lack of necessary documents viz. charge-sheet, copy of depositions and copy of judgment, the father of the appellant could not contact any lawyer. He was also not aware as to how those copies would be available to him and therefore the appellant could not challenge the impugned judgment within time and therefore there is delay of 85 days in challenging the impugned judgment.

We have heard the learned counsel for the applicant.

For the reasons stated in the application, the application is allowed. Delay of 85 days is condoned. 5.

The Registry is directed to register the appeal.
