This is an application for condonation of delay, which is caused in preferring the appeal under Section 14-A of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989.

Heard learned counsel for the applicant, who submitted that the statutory right of the present applicant to prefer an appeal would be affected if the delay is not condoned.

Learned APP has strongly opposed the said application on the ground that, there is no sufficient and reasonable cause for condonation of delay. 4.

In view of the reasons mentioned and submission made by the learned counsel, the delay is rkn
