CRIMINAL APPLICATION [APPA] NO.653/2025 :- The present application was filed by the legal heirs of deceased - Ankush Ramaji Kadu for condonation of delay and for bringing legal heirs on record. Criminal Appeal No.441/2014 was preferred by the original informant, namely, Ankush Kadu against the judgment and order of acquittal passed by Additional Sessions Judge-4, Nagpur, in Session Trial No.423/2009. Said informant - Ankush died on 19/04/2025, and therefore, the legal representatives of Ankush has filed the present application for bringing them on record by condoning the delay. 2.
I do not see any impediment in permitting the legal heirs of Ankush to pursue Criminal Appeal No.441/2014 by condoning the
54-Cr.APPEAL-441-2014 delay of 12 days. Accordingly, the Criminal Application [APPA] No.653/2025 is allowed. The legal heirs of deceased - Ankush, i.e., present applicant be brought on record by making necessary amendment in the title clause. The learned counsel shall carry out the necessary amendment within 14 days from today.
CRIMINAL APPLICATION [APPA] NO.654/2025 :- In view of the order passed in Criminal Application [APPA] No.653/2025, nothing survives in the application. Accordingly, the Criminal Application [APPA] No.654/2025 is disposed of.
