The Application is for condonation of delay.

Heard learned Counsel for the Appellants, who submitted that the delay is caused in filing the Appeal against conviction as the Appellants were behind bars and there was nobody to look after their defence, and therefore, they could not be approached to the Counsel to prefer an Appeal. 3.

Mr. Khan, learned APP, opposed the said Application and submitted that the reasons mentioned in the Application is not just and reasonable one, and therefore, the Application for condonation of delay deserves to be rejected. 4.

On perusal of the Application it reveals that the Appellants are behind bars and there is nobody to look after

2 55.APPA.715-2025.odt their defence, and therefore, the delay is caused. If the delay is not condoned the statutory right will be affected. In view of that, the delay which is caused in preferring the Appeal against conviction, is hereby condoned. The delay Application is disposed of.

The Appeal be registered.
