JANUARY 8, 2026 Delay has occurred because of old age of the applicant as also medical ailments. Documents to that effect have been annexed with the application. 2] In view of above, and for the reasons set out in the application, the same is allowed. Delay of 64 days in filing the appeal stands condoned.

CRIMINAL APPEAL ST. NO. 10186/2025 4] The appeal has been filed under Section 419 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023. The appellant is the wife of the deceased, who has been allegedly killed by respondent no.2 and, thus, is a victim, who has a right to file appeal against the judgment of acquittal.

5] Accordingly, the appeal is admitted.

6] The learned A.P.P. waives notice for respondent no.1/State.
