Criminal Application (APL) No.723 of 2020 is pending from last more than four years with a prayer to quash the First Information Report (for short "FIR") in question. However, in the meantime, the investigation is over and the chargesheet is ready, which is sought to be filed and to that effect a prayer is made by the State by this application.

Considering the material collected during the investigation, we are of the opinion that the chargesheet should be permitted to be filed by the State. Accordingly, the application for permission to file the chargesheet is allowed.

Application is disposed of accordingly.

We have allowed the application filed by the State for permission to file the chargesheet. 2.

In that view of the matter, the present matter does not survive, accordingly, it is disposed of, with liberty to the applicant to file afresh, raising a challenge to the chargesheet, if the applicant so desires.

Shri Rai, learned counsel appearing for nonapplicant No. 2, undertakes to wave the notice if such application is filed and a copy is supplied in advance. Application is disposed of accordingly.
