By this application, the State is seeking permission to file the charge sheet as investigation is completed.

By order dated 08.11.2023, this Court has directed that investigation shall go on, but the charge sheet shall not be filed without obtaining leave of the Court.

Considering the fact that the investigation is already completed and the charge sheet is ready for filing. Considering the nature of the offence, the trial is not stayed, but only the Investigating Officer was directed to file the charge sheet after seeking the permission of the Court. In view of that, the application deserves to be allowed. Accordingly, the
(2) 141.appp.1001.2025 Investigating Officer shall file a charge sheet within two weeks.

On filing of the charge sheet within two weeks, leave is granted to the applicant to amend the application. The amended copy of the application along with the copy of the charge sheet shall be placed on record and also supply the copy to the non-applicants.

On failure to comply with the said order, the application stands dismissed without further reference to the Court.

In case of compliance, the Criminal Application (APL) be listed for further consideration on 16.02.2026.
7.
Criminal Application (APPP) No.1001 of 2025 is disposed of.
