Heard Mr. Pawar, learned Advocate for Applicant and Mr. Haldankar, learned APP for Respondent.

This is a Bail Application filed by the Applicants. Mr. Pawar informs the Court that Applicants' have filed a Bail Application before the learned Sessions Court which was heard fully and closed for orders in July - 2024. He would submit that thereafter, the learned Sessions Court has not passed any order in the Bail Application and the said Bail Application is pending for orders. He would submit that on 07.01.2025 the present Bail Application was filed by Applicants seeking bail before this Court.

On instructions received from his clients and Applicants, Mr. Pawar would persuade the Court to allow him to convert the present

24.APL.27.2025.doc Bail Application into a Writ Petition so that he can approach the Division Bench for seeking appropriate relief. He would submit that he has instructions to withdraw the present Bail Application and file a Writ Petition accordingly. He would submit that since substantial time has lapsed the Court may permit him to convert the present Bail Application into a Writ Petition by carrying out the necessary amendment to that effect and if the said amendment is carried out, direction be given to the Registry to register the same as a fresh Writ Petition.

Considering the request made by Mr. Pawar, the Bail Application is allowed to be withdrawn and liberty is granted to the Advocate for Applicants to convert the present Bail Application into a Writ Petition by carrying out the necessary amendment within a period of one week from today. Re-verification stands dispensed with. 6.

After the said amendment is carried out, Registry is directed to register the same as a fresh Writ Petition and process the same in accordance with law.
