It is the contention of the Applicant that, the Applicant is a family friend of the husband of Respondent No.2 and is not a family member. 3.1 In view thereof, it prima facie appears that the provisions of Section 498-A of the Indian Penal Code are not applicable to the Applicant. 1/2
