Heard learned Advocate Joshi for the Applicants. Earlier there is a petition filed before the Division Bench, however, the charge was framed. That is why it was withdrawn on 3rd March 2025 with liberty.

The charge is on Page-682. There are various offences. The grievance is in respect of 4th and last head. Charge is framed under Section 39 and 45 of the Maharashtra Money Lending (Regulation) Act 2014. The submissions is, except the transaction with the husband of the first informant, there are no other transactions indicating money lending. Reliance is placed on the observations

Learned APP submitted that in the charge-sheet there are various sale deeds in which the Petitioner is described as the purchaser. However, Mr. Joshi submitted that there are genuine transactions and these documents are not supported by any statement recorded in Section 161.
