DATE : 12th AUGUST, 2025 P.C.:- 1) Husband (Petitioner No.1); brother-in-law (Petitioner No.2); mother-in-law (Petitioner No.3), wife of Petitioner No.2 (Petitioner No.4) and father-in-law (Petitioner No.5) of Respondent No.2 have filed this Application under Section 482 of the Criminal Procedure Code for quashing of the C.R.No. 272 of 2025 dated 28th April, 2025, registered with Goregaon Police Station, Mumbai under Sections 85, 115(2), 352 and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, with the consent of Respondent No.2, the informant.

KVM 37 - APL 871-2025.doc submitted that, the Respondent No.2 has already filed on record her Affidavit dated 1st August, 2025 duly notarized before a Notary Public. It is stated therein that, during the pendency of the said investigation, the parties herein have resolved their all disputes. In Para No.5 thereof, Respondent No.2 has stated that she is voluntarily and unconditionally giving her consent for quashing of the present crime. 2.1) Respondent No.2 is personally present in the Court and through her Advocate reiterates the contents of her Affidavit dated 1st August, 2025 and her 'No Objection' for quashing of the crime in question. 3) In view of the above, Application is allowed in terms of prayer clause (b).
