With a grievance that no action has been taken on their complaints made on 6th October 2024 and 6th December 2024, the applicants seek a direction to the respondent-police authorities to take action to register a crime. In the prayer clause, there is no detail of the proposed accused. Such a person is not arrayed as a party-respondent in the present proceeding. Leaving aside these technical aspects, the criminal application at the instance of aggrieved persons like the applicants seeking direction for registration of First Information Report shall not be maintainable. The applicants have adequate remedy in law as provided under the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023.
