Heard the learned Counsel for the Applicant.

A limited prayer in the application is to expedite hearing of RCC No.2217 of 2016. The Applicant is the first informant. 3.
Learned Counsel for the Applicant submits that the order of charge has yet not been passed and the matter is now listed before the learned Magistrate on 20 January 2026.

In view of the aforesaid submission and having regard to the pendency of the proceeding, the application stands disposed with a request to the learned Magistrate to pass an order on charge, within a period of two months. 5.
In the event the charge is framed, the learned Magistrate is requested to commence and conclude the trial in RCC No.2217 of 2016 as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of one year from the date of SSP 1/2
