Mr. Rahul Raj, i/b r. Sathyanarayanan, for the Applicant. Mr. P. P. Malshe, APP for the State.

SANTOSH SUBHASH KULKARNI

CORAM:

N. J. JAMADAR, J.

DATED:

3rd OCTOBER, 2025 SANTOSH SUBHASH KULKARNI Date: 2025.10.04 13:09:12 +0530 Oral Order:- 1.

Heard the learned Counsel for the parties.

2.

The limited prayer in this petition is to hear and decide Sessions Case No.118 of 2025 as expeditiously as possible. 3.

The learned Counsel for the applicant submits that, the applicants are likely to be issued appointment orders in terms of the order passed by the Supreme Court on 3rd March, 2025. One of the conditions of the appointment is to produce a police verification report within six months of the issue of the appointment order. The incident is of the year 2006 and the cognizance of the offences was taken in the year 2007. The pendency of the Sessions Case may, thus, cause prejudice to the 1/2

10-CRIAPL1033-2025.DOC applicants as they would be deprived of the employment despite the order of the Supreme Court.

4.

In view of the aforesaid submission and without delving into the correctness of the grounds urged in this application, the only order that can be passed is, to request the learned Sessions Judge to hear and decide the Sessions Case as expeditiously as possible.

5.

The application stands disposed.
