Through this Criminal Application, the petitioners who are the relatives of the victim in her matrimonial home are seeking quashing of the crime registered against them vide First Information Report No. 108 of 2025 registered on 30th August 2025 at Revdanda Police Station for committing offences under section 108 and 3(5) of the Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023. 2.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor has opposed this criminal application and states that the First Information Report was promptly lodged.

The learned counsel for the applicants, on instructions, seeks permission to withdraw the Criminal Application with liberty to the petitioners to avail of remedy as available to them at an appropriate time including filing of discharge petition.

Criminal Application No. 1234 of 2025 is dismissed as withdrawn with the aforesaid liberty.
