The applicant is seeking quashing of First Information Report No.42 of 2024 lodged on 26th January 2024 with Airport Police Station, Pune. Mrs. M. M. Deshmukh, In-charge Public Prosecutor states that the cognizance has been taken and the charges have been framed and now the case has been committed to the Court of Sessions.

Since cognizance of the offence has been taken by the Court concerned, this criminal application shall not lie in view of the Rule 2 (II) (h) under Chapter-I of the Bombay High Court Appellate Side Rules, 1960. Therefore, reserving a liberty with the applicant to challenge the order taking cognizance, Criminal Application No.1265 of 2025 is dismissed as withdrawn.
