Heard the learned Counsel for the Applicant.

This Application is filed for relaxation of the condition to pay the escort charges.

By the impugned order dated 18th November 2025, the learned Sessions Judge, Pune, has allowed the Petitioner to appear for the LLB 7th semester examination. However, the learned Sessions Judge directed by ARUN RAMCHANDRA SANKPAL Date:

2025.11.29 16:25:05 +0530 that the Applicant-accused be taken from the Yerwada Prison to Kasturi ARUN RAMCHANDRA SANKPAL Shikshan Sanstha School of Law, Shikrapur, Pune, upon payment of escort charges.

The learned Counsel for the Applicant submits that, the escort charges are stated to be in the range of Rs.25,000/- per day and the Applicant is not in a position to bear such exorbitant charges. 5.

Since the Applicant is a student and is appearing for LLB 7th semester examination and having regard to the fact that the institute, which the Applicant is required to attend for the said examination, is stated to be within the limits of Pune District, the Court considers it expedient in the interest of justice to direct that the escort charges be borne by the State Government.

The condition to pay escort charges for the examination which is scheduled to be on 4th and 8th December 2025 stands relaxed. 7.

In the event, the examination, which is scheduled to be held on 4th and 8th December 2025, is postponed, the Petitioner be taken to the said institute to facilitate him to appear in the examination on the rescheduled dates.
