This matter is listed at Serial No. 115 in today's "Daily Board". At 11:00 a.m., Mr. Vikram Chaudhari, the learned Senior Counsel for the Applicant, requested to take up this matter out of turn due to its urgency. He submits that the matter is fixed before the Special Court on 07.04.2026 for framing charge. He states that the prosecution is urging the Trial Court to frame the charge and that there is a possibility of the charge being framed on the said date.

Mr. Pawan Patil, learned Counsel for the Respondent No. 1 (Enforcement Directorate), states that the learned ASG appearing in the matter is in difficulty today. Mr Vikram Chaudhari, learned Senior Counsel for the Applicant, requested that this matter be taken up in the evening session to see whether Respondent No. 1 could make alternative arrangements, considering the urgency of the Criminal Application.

At the time of the rise of the Court (i.e. 7:35 pm), Mr. V. Chaudhari, learned Senior Counsel for the Applicant, renewed his request that the matter be taken up today.

Mr. Pavan Patil, learned Advocate for Respondent No. 1, states that the learned ASG is unable to appear today and that he is also unable to take instructions from the learned ASG regarding the matter before the Special Court scheduled on 07.04.2026. He pleads for time. Mr. Vikram Chaudhari, learned Senior Advocate, objects to the grant of time and prays for an interim order staying the proceedings before the Trial court. In view of the request made by Mr. Pavan Patil, learned Advocate for Respondent No. 1, as a matter of indulgence, time is granted.

Mr. Vikram Chaudhari, learned Senior Advocate for the Applicant and Mr. Pavan Patil, learned Advocate for the Respondent No. 1, request that the present Criminal Application be listed on 06.04.2026 at 5:00 p.m.
