This is an application for regular bail.

The applicant came to be arrested in Crime No.205 of 2024 at Bhigwan Police Station, Dist. Pune for the offences punishable under Sections 370 read with 34 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and Sections 3,4,5,6 and 7 of the Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act (PITA Act).

The applicant was working as a waiter in Ashok Lodge. According to the prosecution the owner of the lodge, who is coaccused in the present crime and the present applicant were running brothel in the said lodge.

The bail is sought on the ground of parity. In support of the said ground, the learned counsel for the applicant has placed on record a copy of the order passed by this Court dated 21.11.2024 in Criminal Bail Application No. 3173 of 2024. By the said order, this Court has released the co-accused Ramanna Bhat, the owner Dinesh S. Sherla 1/2
21-ba-89-25.doc of the Lodge on bail.

I have perused the statement of victims. They have attributed identical overt act to the present applicant and coaccused Ramanna Bhat. In that view of the matter and as there are no other criminal antecedents of similar nature against the applicant, I am inclined to release him on bail. In the result, the following order is passed.
O R D E R
A] Bail Application is allowed.
B] The applicant be released on bail in C.R. No.205 of 2024 at Bhigwan Police Station, Dist. Pune for the offences punishable under Sections 370 read with 34 of the IPC and Sections 3,4,5,6 and 7 of the PITA Act, on furnishing P.R Bond in the sum of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand) with one or two sureties in the like amount. C] The applicant shall attend the concerned police station once in a month ,i.e., on first Saturday between 11.00 a.m. to 2.00 p.m. till conclusion of the trial.
D] The applicant shall not directly or indirectly make any inducement, threat or promise to any person acquainted with the facts of the case, as also not tamper with the evidence;
