Heard Mr. Pratik Kalantri, learned Advocate for the Applicant. He submits that the offence in the present Application was registered on 8th May, 2020. He submits that the crime is now registered as Sessions Case No.67 of 2025 and is pending on the file of the Court of Additional Sessions Judge, Nashik Road, Nashik. He submits that the charge was framed on 21st September, 2022. He submits that out of the 32 prosecution witnesses till date 7 witnesses have been examined. He submits that the last witness examined before the learned Trial Court was on 7th November, 2024. He submits that from 7th November, 2024 till date not a single witness has been examined in Sessions Case No.67 of 2025. He, therefore seeks bail on the ground of denial of the Applicant's right to speedy trial.
