Heard Mr. Jadhav, learned Advocate for Applicant and Ms. Bajoria, learned APP for State.

Indictment of the Applicant is for offence punishable under NDPS Act. He is incarcerated since 30.12.2023. Applicant is lodged in Arthur Road Central Prison. It is stated that Applicant is suffering from kidney stone and stomach ulcer. In view thereof, Chief Medical Officer of the Arthur Road Central Prison Hospital shall ascertain the medical status of the Applicant and submit a report to this Court on or before the next adjourned date to enable this Court to consider the request made by Applicant.

If any affidavit in reply is filed by Respondent, copy of the same shall be handed over to the Applicant's Advocate.
