This is an application for regular bail.

The applicant came to be arrested in Crime No.354 of 2022 registered at Lonikalbhor Police Station, Pune for the offences punishable under Sections 302, 201, 363 and 366(A) of the Indian Penal Code.

According to the prosecution, the present applicant and the deceased were in relationship. According to the prosecution, the applicant was suspecting about the character of the deceased and thus on the date of incident which took place on 5.7.2022, the present applicant assaulted the deceased by stone and committed her murder.

I have heard the learned counsel for the applicant and the learned APP for the respondent - State.

The case is based on circumstantial evidence. The applicant is in jail for more than 3 years. The trial has not commenced. In that view of the matter, I am inclined to release the applicant on bail. In the result, the following order is passed.
O R D E R
A] The Application is allowed.
B] The applicant be released on bail in C.R. No. 354 of 2022 registered at Lonikalbhor Police Station, Pune for the offences punishable under Sections 302, 201, 363 and 366(A) of the Indian Penal Code on furnishing P.R Bond in the sum of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand) with one or two sureties in the like amount.
C] The applicant shall attend the concerned police station once in a month, i.e., on 1st Saturday between 11.00 am to 1.00 p.m., till conclusion of trial.
