.
This is the second application for grant of bail as the earlier bail application bearing Bail Application No.1991 of 2024 was disposed of as withdrawn on 18.10.2024. On the said occasion, the applicant withdrew the application as charge-sheet had been filed and a fresh bail application was contemplated to be filed before the Sessions Court. 2.
The bail application filed before the Sessions Court was subsequently dismissed and hence, the applicant has approached this Court again.
3.
The principal submission made on behalf of the applicant is that, even if the applicant is to be convicted for all the offences registered against him, the maximum sentence that can be imposed upon him is for a period of five years. Since the applicant was arrested on 11.03.2024, it is submitted that he has already undergone more than a year of imprisonment and even charge has not been framed and therefore, this Court may consider granting bail to the applicant. 4.
The learned APP to take instructions about the stage of the trial 1/2
