Since this is a case involving offences under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012, on 06.02.2025, this Court had directed service of notice on respondent No.2 (victim) through the investigating officer. The learned APP informs this Court that respondent No.2 was duly served through the investigating officer. 2.

There is no representation on behalf of respondent No.2 and in the facts and circumstances of the present case, it would be appropriate that legal aid is provided to the said respondent. 3.

The applicant shall serve a copy of this application on the office of the High Court Legal Services Committee within one week from today. The Committee shall immediately appoint an advocate to represent the said respondent.

List the application for consideration/disposal on 29.04.2025, to be included in the supplementary list. It is made clear that this Court will consider the present application, in the light of observations made in the order dated 09.04.2025, particularly in the backdrop of the statement made by the learned APP that even till date, charge has not been framed before the trial Court.
