The Application is for grant of bail.

The ground raised in the Application is delay in trial.

Learned Senior Counsel for the Applicant, submitted that 288 witnesses are cited and only 7 witnesses are examined.

Considering the stake involved in the Application, at this stage it would be appropriate to direct the Special Court to proceed with the trial expeditiously and liberty is granted to the present Applicant to move before this Court after three months if there is no substantial progress. 5.

The Trial Court shall make endeavour to examine as many as witnesses and try to dispose of the trial within
