Heard Mr. Thakur, learned Advocate for Applicants and Ms. Yadav, learned APP for Respondent.

Applicants before me are indicted in offences of cheating registered by the prosecution at behest of First Informant - Complainant. The Complainant after interacting on Tinder App deposited a few lakhs of rupees in the bank account of the principal accused namely Accused No.5. In all there are 9 Accused persons indicted in the crime. Case of prosecution is that there has been transfer of amount by the main Accused to other co-accused persons. 4.

Present Applicants are arraigned as Accused Nos.8 and 9. Learned Advocate informs the Court that they are indicted merely on the basis of statement of Accused No.5 who is the main Accused in the

On being specifically asked as to whether present Applicants have received any money or if any funds have been received in their bank accounts, the learned Advocate would inform the Court that they have not received any money neither they are beneficiary of any amount from the main accused. Though he would fairly submit that Applicants are known to the main Accused No.5, he would submit that in so far as the present crime is concerned he has no nexus with him. He would submit that both Applicants are plumbers by profession.

Learned APP appearing in the present matter shall consider the aforesaid submissions made by the learned Advocate for Applicants and ascertain their precise role in the crime. Learned APP is directed to inform the Court whether Applicants are beneficiaries of any amounts from the other co-accused persons in the present crime. 6.

Stand over to 17th April, 2025. To be placed on 'Supplementary Board'.
