Heard Ms. Charania, learned Advocate for Applicant; Mr. Bhattacharya, learned Advocate for Respondent No.1 and Mr. Kulkarni, learned APP for Respondent No.2.

Applicant before me is arraigned as Accused No.1 for offences punishable under Section 8 (c) read with Sections 21(a), 22(c), 23(a) and (c), 27A, 28 and 29 of the Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 (for short 'NDPS Act'). There are three other Accused. 2 out of the 3 Accused namely Accused No.2 and 4 have been granted bail by this Court in Bail Application Nos.4731 of 2024 and 3846 of 2024 and dated 11.02.2025.

Prima facie, role of Applicant would be identical to that of
7.BA.828.2025.doc Accused No.2 save and except the fact that alleged contraband was booked by Accused No.3 in the name of Accused No.1 who is the Applicant before me.

Mr. Bhattacharya enters appearance for Respondent No.1. He seeks time of three weeks to file Affidavit-of-Reply. Let the reply be filed and served on the Advocate for Applicant. 5.
