Heard Mr. Deshmukh, learned Advocate for Applicant and Ms. Newton, learned APP for Respondent.

The present Application is by Applicant who is incarcerated for 7 years 8 months and 26 days in C.R. No.27 of 2017 registered with DCB CID Unit III for offences punishable under Sections 302, 120B, 201, 506(2) read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (for short 'IPC').

This Court while delivering its decision in two Bail Applications of co-accused in the same crime has described the status of trial and after hearing the prosecution opined that from the status of the trial, it would be seen that it would not be completed in the near foreseeable future.

Applicant is directed to serve an extra copy of Application on Ms. Newton, learned APP. Learned APP shall take appropriate instructions and apprise the Court on the next adjourned date. 5.

Considering the fact that present Applicant is covered by decision of this Court dated 26.02.2025 in Bail Application Nos.19 of 2025 and 5434 of 2024, I propose to take up this Application for hearing on the next adjourned date.
