IN THE HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT BOMBAY

CRIMINAL APPELLATE JURISDICTION BAIL APPLICATION NO.881 OF 2025 Dnyandev Yetala Waghmare ...Applicant

Versus

State of Maharashtra

...Respondent

__________ Mr. S.C. Singh a/w Mr. Ritesh Singh for the Applicant. Ms. Anuja S. Gotad, A.P.P. for the Respondent-State. Mr. J.B. Kadam, P.S.I., Nehru Nagar Police Station, Mumbai, present. __________ CORAM :

DR. NEELA GOKHALE, J.

DATE :

6 OCTOBER 2025 P.C.:

1.

After some arguments, when I was not inclined to grant relief to the Applicant, Mr. S.C. Singh, learned Counsel appearing for the Applicant, on instructions, sought to withdraw the present bail application.

2.

He brought to my notice the order dated 2nd August 2024, passed by this Court, wherein the Court being disinclined to grant relief to the Applicant, the said bail application was also withdrawn. However, this Court had directed the Trial Court to complete the trial as expeditiously as possible and in any case within six months from the date of the order. Rajesh Chittewan, PS

41. BA 881-2025.doc 3.

Admittedly the trial is not complete till date. In fact, even on the previous date, the learned A.P.P. had stated that the prosecution is intended to examine only eight witnesses and one out of which, one witness is already examined. The same status appears to be as well today.

4.

In these circumstances, the Trial Court is directed to conclude the trial within a period of four months from the date on which, the present order is placed before the Trial Court. 5.

Application is permitted to be withdrawn.

6.

Application stands disposed of as withdrawn.
