Heard Mr. Satre, learned Advocate for Applicant and Mr. Karmakar, learned APP for Respondent.

Mr. Satre would submit that Applicant is incarcerated for last one year under provisions of the Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 (for short 'NDPS Act') for being in possession of intermediate quantity of alleged contraband namely 20 grams of Mephedrone. On merits it is submitted that disclosure of Applicant's name who is arraigned as Accused No.3 was made by Accused No.1 who was apprehended for being in possession of 100 grams of Mephedrone as supplier of the contraband in his statement. 3.

Mr. Satre would submit that Applicant is working as a delivery boy with Zomato for past 2 years prior to his arrest and has no antecedents so as to qualify statement of Accused No.1 labeling him as

Mr. Karmakar, learned APP on going through the record would submit that there are 5 Accused. He is directed to take appropriate instructions and apprise the Court about the precise role of Applicant on next adjourned date on which date case of Applicant shall be considered.
