Mr. Prashant Pandey, learned counsel appearing for the Applicant, states that the Applicant was not produced on as many as 14 dates; P.W.1, who is the victim herself, was absent on as many as 9 dates and the Applicant is in custody from 4th February 2020, i.e. he has suffered incarceration for 5 years and 9 months, till date.

In these circumstances, the Trial Court is directed to record deposition of the victim, i.e., P.W.1, who is already stated to be in witness-box, within a period of 1 month from the date on which this order is placed before it. 3.
