Heard Ms. Achari, learned Advocate for Applicant and Ms. Ganapathy, learned APP for Respondent No.2.

Ms. Achari would persuade the Court to consider release of Applicant on medical grounds. She would submit that Applicant is having and suffering from a serious heart ailment which needs immediate attention and hence Court be pleased to pass appropriate orders to ascertain and consider the present Application. 3.

The principal opponent is Union of India and State of Maharashtra is Respondent No.2.

Learned APP appearing for Respondent No.2 is directed by the Court to call for report from the concerned Jail namely Thane Central Prison where the Applicant is lodged. Chief Medical Officer of

16.BA.989.2025.doc the prison Hospital of Thane Central Prison is directed by this Court to immediately ascertain medical and health status of Applicant and place the details thereof in appropriate report before the Court through the concerned Investigating Officer. Learned APP shall bring the present order to notice of Investigating Officer as also the jail authorities of Thane Central Prison for compliance.
