The learned counsel appearing for the applicant submits that the applicant is in jail since 26/02/2022.

The allegations are of rape on the minor girl who is aged about 10 years. The present applicant is aged about 40 years. Further, the present applicant was caught red handed by the relative. 3.

I have perused the statement of the victim, the statements of other witnesses, as well as the medical report of the victim. After perusal of the material, I am not inclined to grant bail. Hence, the Criminal Application is rejected.

However, the trial Court is requested to expedite the trial and try to conclude the trial within

22-Cr.WP-993-2025 a period of six months, as the applicant is in jail since 26/02/2022. In case, the trial is not concluded within six months, the applicant is at liberty to file a fresh application for bail once again before this Court. 5.

Fees of the appointed counsel be quantified and paid as per rules.
