Considering the indictment of Applicant for offences punishable under IPC, POCSO Act & Juvenile Justice Act, learned APP is directed by the Court to obtain consent of Respondent No. 2 through the Investigating Officer (IO) in the present case for legal representation, if so required by the victim. Though the learned Advocate has informed the Court that a copy has been served on Respondent No. 2 directly, nevertheless the Advocate for the Applicant is directed to serve a fresh set of papers on the concerned Investigating Officer (IO) forthwith. This is to ensure that the consent of the victim for legal representation can be obtained and accordingly apprised to the Court by the learned APP on the next adjourned date.
