During the course of arguments, Mr. Aniket Nikam learned Advocate for the Applicant, apart from relying on the order in the case of Siddharth Mariba Kamble Vs. State of Maharashtra, places reliance on the order of the Trial Court granting bail to co-accused by name John Peter Paul Philips, who as per Mr. Aniket Nikam is one of the assailant in the crime. He points out to page No.974 and more particularly paragraph No.4, wherein Investigation Officer has conceded for grant of bail to John Paul for the reason recorded in the said order. 24-ba-1202-2025.doc Applicant by placing reliance on the charge-sheet submits that the concession given by the Investigation Officer in the case of John Peter Paul Philips is contrary to record.

Faced with the said contention, Ms. Anamika Malhotra, learned APP for the State seeks an adjournment to take instructions from the concerned ACP.

At the request of Ms. Anamika Malhotra, learned APP for the State and by consent of the parties, list the matter on 12th August, 2025.
