The applicant is arrested in Crime No.587/2021 for the offence punishable under Sections 302, 363, 364, 451, 34, 120-B and 201 of the Indian Penal Code.

The applicant has filed this application on the ground of delay in trial. Since 18.11.2021 the applicant is in jail. Since than there is no progress in trial. As the applicant has filed this application on the ground of delay in trial I had called status report of the trial. 4.
On perusal of the status report it appears that on 29.10.2025 the charge is framed. The witnesses are not examined. The matter is fixed on 24.12.2025 for fixing the date of hearing. Since last 4 years the applicant is in jail, there are 51 witnesses, other 8 co-accused are already released on bail, role played by this applicant is similar to other co-accused and one of the co-accused is released on bail in this crime but is in jail in another crime, application deserves to be allowed.
i) Applicant - Sunil Kavdu Kuchankar be released on bail in Crime No.587/2021 for the offence punishable under Sections 302, 363,
ba1224.2025.odt 364, 451, 34, 120-B and 201 of the Indian Penal Code, on furnishing P.R. Bond in the sum of Rs.50,000/- (Rupees Fifty Thousand only) with one solvent surety in the like amount before the trial Court. ii) The applicant shall not in any way tamper with the prosecution evidence.
iii) The applicant shall not pressurize or threaten the prosecution witnesses.
iv) The applicant shall co-operate with the learned trial Judge in the conduct of the trial.
