By this application, applicant seeks regular bail in connection with CR No.1-177 of 2022 registered with Ambernath (W) police station for the offence punishable under Sections 302, 201 of the Indian Penal Code.

Earlier application filed by applicant for bail came to be rejected on 06.03.2024 by this court in the said order trial court was requested to make an endeavor to conclude hearing expeditiously as possible. This Court is informed by the applicant that in spite of the said direction, till date after filing of the 23rd March, 2026

23-BA-1252-2025 chargesheet only one witness is examined and about 30 witnesses are yet to be examined before the Trial Court. Since the first application was rejected on merit without granting any liberty to the applicant to file fresh bail application, this court finds it inappropriate to pass any order on merit. However, considering the fact that applicant is in jail for a period of four years, Trial Court is directed to conclude the trial as expeditiously and in any case, within a year from today.

If the trial is not over, liberty is granted to the applicant move fresh application for seeking bail.
