After arguing the application for some time, and when the Court appeared disinclined to grant relief, the learned advocate for the applicant, on instructions, sought permission to withdraw the application with liberty to file a fresh bail application if the trial is not completed within nine months.

Permission, as prayed for, is granted.

The bail application is, therefore, dismissed as withdrawn with liberty as prayed for.

The Trial Court is directed to expedite the trial and shall endeavour to complete it within nine months.
