1.
The present bail application has been filed in the backdrop of earlier proceedings. It is noted that the earlier bail application bearing Bail Application No.3396 of 2022 came to be rejected by a reasoned order dated 20th September 2024. Thereafter, by order dated 28th April 2025, a co-ordinate Bench of this Court had granted a time frame of one year to the learned Trial Court for disposal of Special Case No.100855 of 2022. In light of the said developments, and considering that the matter is already directed to be concluded within a stipulated period, in my considered opinion, no further directions on merits of bail are warranted at this stage. However, interest of justice would be served if appropriate
2 of 2 19.BA.1478.2025.doc directions are issued to ensure expeditious disposal of the pending trial.
2.
Learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions from the Investigating Officer, submits that only two more Investigating Officers remain to be examined as prosecution witnesses, and the matter is already fixed before the learned Trial Court on 11th July 2025. It is therefore expected that both the said Investigating Officers shall remain present before the Trial Court on the said date without fail. The learned Trial Court is also requested to take earnest efforts to ensure that the trial is concluded at the earliest, preferably within the time frame already fixed by this Court.
3.
In view of the above directions, the present Bail Application stands disposed off. No further orders are necessary at this stage.
